This totally ecological house is full of light due to its many windows and it also has nice architectural Gaudi like details. It is run by solar energy and it has a rain water collection system. The kitchen has polished cement counter tops in a horse shoe layout,.The floor is Laja with metal frame windows and beam tiled ceiling. There is a Stone wall with a wooden framed window that divides the house in two: the eat-in kitchen and the rest of the house where the bedchamber is as well as the bathroom, living room and storage room. The bedchamber has burgundy tiled floor, windows with wood shutters. The grand room which connects to the bedchamber has an open floor plan. The floor is mosaic pebbles, it has three niches and the walls are made of adobe. In one side, there are built in wooden cabinets and it also has a wood burning fireplace. The washroom is on the north side of Grand room with a stone shower wall,, brass/ceramic fixtures in shower with raised edge "tub", polished cement counter, compost toilet and a Roman dome over the bath area. There is a small storage room on north side of grand room is made of sillar and a separate pantry houses the solar equipment there. This area could be made into a studio or a second sleeping space or a water toilet. There is extensive landscaping. The reforesting has been done with native mature trees like pirules, mesquite, pines, maringays, acadias, ocotios etc. The perimeter fence around the house in lined with Organos and other native cactus. There are magueys planted everywhere as wind blocks, and several lavender. The orchard area is home to royal lemons, limes, avocado, apple, pear, guavas and pomegranate. At the northwest corner of the house sit two peach trees. The entry way has figs and rosemary. The vegetable garden has pomegranate, tobacco and various herbs growing, the raised beds have been sleeping unused for over a year but the artichoke plants are still producing. A line of bamboo designates the area where Temzcals and Tipi ceremonies were held. There is an out house at the corner of the property next to the common path that circumferences the west and south side of common green area. There is a covered area to the west of the house that was used for storage and green house. On the east side, there is a fenced corral area with a covered shelter for additional rain catchment. There are two cisterns, with capacity of 23,000 liters each, two entry driveways, and a foundation close to the common road on the east side.
